We took a 10 minute walk down the busy streets of Beijing to go to a mall to eat. The traffic was crazy & I think I was more scared of the bicycles that were blazing past us more so than the cars. Our guide told us to cross the street in a group because traffic lights are a suggestion!
This is the 6 level mall and it had a lot of stores that we have as well as many that we don't have too!
Our guide told us that there was Pizza Hut, McDonald's & KFC so we could go there and get a quick bite to eat! We thought of going somewhere else, but we had no way to tell them what we wanted or ask questions! We had to ask for someone who spoke English and with her broken English and us pointing at the pictures we managed to get a pizza! It was good, but this was not the Pizza Hut we know. They had all kinds of stuff besides pizza!
This is outside our hotel after we walked back from eating! We are so tired and we must go to sleep. We are going to the Great Wall tomorrow and we have to meet our guide at 10am!
